How we publicly communicate and talk about burnout and suicide can have an impact on help-seeking behaviours. Research has found that certain types of public messaging can increase risk among vulnerable individuals. However, communications on the subject can be a powerful tool to promote resiliency, encourage help-seeking, and highlight effective prevention efforts.
