World Solar Challenge
The UM Solar Car Team designs and engineers solar-powered race cars. Here, they set out again to take on the World Solar Challenge, a 3000 km endurance race over the brutal Australian landscape. Before the competition, the team lived and worked in Adelaide for over two months to prepare for this mock race— 8 days in the desert, outrunning clouds, and chasing the sun. This is what it looked like across the Outback.
